At Hutchison, college counselors also serve as course advisors, a combination that gives a student continuity and a four-year plan tailored to her academic strengths and career aspirations.
Counselors guide girls through a process of self-reflection, strategic course selection, and extracurricular activities that complement each girl's unique talents and her college search. College Counseling Director Lauren Colpitts says parents are also a vital part of the process.
