Spectator guidelines for Home Volleyball Games (reminder NO spectators for the Monday, Sept. 14 Home Game)

Coach Allen
On Monday, September 14, we play St. Agnes at Hutchison in the Dunavant gym.  Due to the following Shelby County requirements, and recommendations from medical professionals at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital and UT Health Sciences, we will not be having any spectators from either team in the Dunavant gym.  The space in the Dunavant gym limits us to having team personnel only.  Going forward, all other home games are scheduled to be played in the Goodlett gym.  Below are the spectator guidelines for our future home game events.

The following guidelines have been developed in accordance with TSSAA and Shelby County Health Department requirements. They will remain in effect until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted or requirements change.
  • Hutchison’s Goodlett Athletic Center has capacity for 30 family units spread throughout the facility. Teams will split this capacity evenly allowing for 15 family units per team.
  • Spectators must maintain appropriate physical distance throughout the facility. Family units/groups of up to six people may sit together, but no member of one group can be within 12 feet of any member of another group.
  • Spectators are asked to only sit on seats clearly marked with blue x’s according to the number in their family unit. Each area of marked seats allows for a different number of spectators in each pod ranging from 2-6 seats.
  • All spectators must wear face coverings at all times in accordance with the Shelby County Health Department Face Mask Directive.
  • The gym will be cleared between games to ensure space for each team's fans. When the game ends spectators will exit through clearly marked doors at the front of the gym.
  • Spectators are asked to remain outside or in their cars until the gym has been cleared from the previous game and are welcomed inside.
  • No concessions will be provided
  • No gate fees will be collected
