Celebrating Hutchison’s Upper School Award Winners and Honorary Inductees
This page will recognize Hutchison’s 2024-2025 upper school award winners and honorary inductees as we announce their achievements.
One of the hallmarks of a Hutchison education is a genuine interest in serving the community and having a meaningful impact on others. During our annual Hutchison Serves assembly, we recognized the following students.
Kirby and Glenn Floyd Excellence in Service Scholarship Award
This award is given annually to a Hutchison girl whose service efforts create lasting, positive changes in the community. Considerations for the selection of a winning project include the girl’s commitment to sustainability, overall impact, innovation, and servant leadership.

Velma Thorn Cunningham Service Award
This award is given in memory and honor of the 1973 Hutchison graduate who dedicated her life to serving others. It is given to a student who has demonstrated an outstanding and consistent commitment to volunteer activities.
